Project 6

  1. A1: I believe either the primary or the tertiary color pages offered the most visually striking images. Most likely due to the high contrast of specific objects within the page.

A2: Least visually striking I would label as the triad (first page) image. I believe this mainly because the blue and green colored objects are highly saturated and easy to see where as the pink in the background gets lost or almost takes on an off white color. This makes it hard to visually see the color concept listed.

A3: The flow through out the entire booklet was great! The black elements flowed freely from one page to the next. On top of that a similar theme was held through out the booklet, nature was represented in every image and helped form stable continuity.

  2. A1: Your best piece in my opinion is the one with feet in the sand (or something). The split compliments end up making a good idea of depth, and focus on the feet and sand as the focal point. The position of everything paired with the colors, makes an interesting depth as I said, and also is aesthetically pleasing.

A2: I feel like your weakest piece is the monochromatic candle/eye page. I feel as though the top and bottom are separated to abruptly and those two spaces don't fit. The eye is flat to us, but the candles have depth and show a space.

A3: Overall you definitely had a set style over all the pieces. A lot of them are dark and have an ominous feel, which may or may not be what your were going for. (I like it though.) The colors you used worked for the spaces (outdoors and such) and a lot of the added pieces, like the moons, are a really cool addition. Good job
